This Sunday 17th May see the return of the Royal Berkshire 10k race.
The Royal Berkshire 10K is a very flat, fast and scenic race, aimed at runners of any standard, it’s a flat closed road one loop course that offers new runners an easy introduction into running events, it also provides a fast race for those wanting to set a new personal best.
If you have a target time for the race in mind they have George Anderson and the experienced pacer team from Intelligent running on hand to help. They will have pace runners for times ranging from 45 minutes to 80 minutes
Make a family day of it. Any child 8 and over can run the 3K Mini Marathon, adults are very welcome too. The race is timed and every runner will receive a free t-shirt. And then there’s the Mini Mile………. It’s open to under 8’s and is the first race of the day. All runners will receive a free t-shirt. Adults can run with their child if they wish to.
The Mini Mile kicks off at 9am, Mini Marathon at 9:30am and the main event (open to runners aged 15 and over) starts at 10:30am.
Parking is available on the day – There are two official car parks, Car Park A the top of Longwater Ave access is off the A33 and Car Park B at the Madejski Stadium both cost £5 cash on arrival.
