Nearly 1000 runners pounded the streets or Bracknell yesterday completing 13.1 miles in less than perfect weather conditions for running.
The event, organised by Barcknell Forest Borough Council, kicked off and finished at South Hill Park and was won by Nick Handley who managed to go one better than his runner up position in last years race.
Many of the runners used the half marathon to raise money for a number of different charities although the official race charity for this year was Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund in memory of late mayor of the borough Alan Kendall, who died from Pancreatic Cancer in November 2014.
